I loved your memo, btw...

[Music || Hilary Duff, "So Yesterday"]
I went on a shopping spree at the JCPenney Outlet at Ontario Mills today. They had a 15% off everything so great deals!

Nobody I know really likes that place. Strange enough, I love it and that's like the only place I love buying clothes without guilt or hesistation. Cheap prices, unpredictable selections, and a great changing room. I mean, after going to the JCPenney Outlet... even the regular JCPenney seems like they're trying to rip you off. $14 for a comfortable, wonderful pair of jeans.. where else can you get that? Not at expensive Lucky's or whatever! Paris Hilton can shop there, but not me.

Like Jamile-Lynn Sigler quoting J.Lo, "I'm real." Excuse me, I'm Asian American. (<--- that line wasn't suppose to make sense :))

The funniest thing today was when I was trying on some jeans. Clumsy me, I was trying to take the belt off my slacks so I could try it on the jeans. A Lizzie McGuire moment in the making happened. My wallet dropped and as I was trying to pick it up with one hand, my grip on my slacks loosen and my spare change in the pocket showered the carpet of the cubicle! I started laughing as the coins danced their way into the changing room next to me (*which someone was in!*). That selfish bastard (actually, I think it was a little kid) didn't return my few pennies that escaped into his little changing room. At least I stopped my two shiny quarters from going into his piggy bank (<--- that line sounds very awkward o_O).

Okay, more stuff happend! After I got out of my jeans (and being in my tighty whitey boxer briefs!) to try on another pair of jeans, I heard voices outside. A dad and his sons (little kids).. something like that. Then I heard the sons saying "Is anybody in here?" as they were laughing and opening doors! Then they pushed open my door midway and said "Is anyone in here?" and I slammed it shut right away. I was kind of pissed off cos there were like another dozen empty dressing rooms! Those kids should be slapped across the face and their mouths should be washed with cheap soap. Standing there, I saw my door being pushed opened again and this time I slammed it as hard as Brittany Murphy in the trailer for the critically panned "Uptown Girls." I hoped the person got pushed down or something cos those losers deserve so! Then I heard their dad laugh it off and say something like "C'mon boys, let's go" or something.

In reality, I wasn't that mad. It was kind of funny and amusing! I ended up buying two pairs of jeans, a sweater, and underwear (new underwear for a new school!).

I still need to get a comforter (I returned my expensive Robinson May one and I'm opting for the durable, good-value Ikea now) and an agenda for school!
Late... but oh well!

1. What's the last place you traveled to, outside your own home state/country?
I think it was on that crummy European tour. You might think it sounds fun, but it's not when it's rush rush rush. Tour buses are NO way to see Europe, even if it means they take you to famous monuments. I don't want to do that. I want to be able to take my time.

2. What's the most bizarre/unusual thing that's ever happened to you while traveling?
I don't really remember. There must've been something... Hmm, I remember helping in my Aunt's restaurant in France. I was just a little chick-a-dee back then and I was washing the cups. It just so happens, the bar is a place where customers can see you. It was late at night and here was a little Chinese boy washing dishes! They felt sorry for me, I guess and gave money to my aunt to give me! Tips! I earned my first French tip by being a little kid. Hehe.

3. If you could take off to anywhere, money and time being no object, where would you go?
Guam. I want to visit Young and see how she lives. Then maybe England and French. Those two really attract me.

4. Do you prefer traveling by plane, train or car?
I've never done train but that one seems most interesting although slow. Car is really tiring and uncomfortable. Plane isn't that much more comfortable. I don't like all three. On a cruise is worse! I guess, I'll choose train cos it's the only one I've never done so it can't be that bad, can it?

5. What's the next place on your list to visit?
Vegas baby, Vegas! (But really, France, babeee, France!)
On time!
1. How much time do you spend online each day?
Too long. Maybe 4-5 hours? Maybe longer.

2. What is your browser homepage set to?
about:blank

3. Do you use any instant messaging programs? If so, which one(s)?
Just AIM. It's easier to use. I've tried the others like Yahoo and ICQ; not so good.

4. Where was your first webpage located?
Angelfire.com, unfortunately.

5. How long have you had your current website?
Since... Summer 2001? That's my Angela Ammons one.
[Music || Paolo and Isabella, "What Dreams Are Made Of" (ballad version)]
Today I engaged myself in a rare conversation with Helen. It seemed just like yesterday it was lunch time and we were talking about our dreams and aspirations on the steps leading up to the L building.

Whatever that brought us together seems to be working itself in a circle. I haven't talked to Helen much after (as she reminded me! I'm forgetful) our fall out during sophomore year after I did something completely stupid! But some people believe everything happens for a reason. I'm half-hearted in that belief at times.

I just know that even if we distance ourselves away, we are still friends cos she understands me one some level. I don't know what levels there are but I know there are levels! What am I talking about?

I don't know, it just seemed so easy to talk to her tonight. This is what I call reminiscing. Ms. Chen, birthday exchanges, French, tennis, and change.

For this, I am grateful.

[Music || Lizzie McGuire, "What Dreams Are Made Of"]
I want adventure! I want to go to Rome! I want to know what dreams are made of!

I'm not interested in typing 'bout my day. I'm going to talk about "The Lizzie McGuire Movie." She is the coolest girl ever! I want to be her best friend!

"Hey now, hey now.. this is what dreams are made of! Hey now, hey now... this is what dreams are made of."

I suggest everyone go out and support Lizzie!

[Music || Tara MacLean, "Settling"]
I'm listening to the album I never really got into, Tara MacLean's "Passenger." I never was a fan or heard of Tara's music when I bought it. The reason I purchased the album was because I heard she was one of Angela Ammons's favorite singers. I was curious. And at that time I thought (rip-off) PennyLane's was offering me a good deal for Tara's album ($3.99).

The album is just so different. It's very soothing to listen to. Aside from my favorite (and most commercial) song "If I Fall," I never really got into "Passenger." Now I'm listening through it. It's really an album which is heartfelt and so personal. Each song tells something but one has to read into it to really interpret what they hear.

Angela told me she one of her favorite lines from Tara's album was from "Settling":
"Oh the leaves they fall,
they go so far sometimes.
Do I blame the wind
or the tree that let you go?

I had to listen to that song for times on end to discover what it meant. I don't think I ever really got it. I appreciate what the album is now. Or at least what I think it is.

I love that line now.
