"My Dreams. My Terms."
[Music || Jamie O'Neal, "There Is No Arizona"]
"Honey" is hella good.

It's about to be kicked out of most theaters next week so I dragged Lien to go see it with me today. I was hoping the theater was gonna be empty but instead, it was jam-packed with about 12 other people! (And this was 11:50 a.m., the earliest show!)

A lot of critics panned "Honey" but what were they expecting? It was uplifting, inspiring, entertaining. Jessica Alba put a smile on my face; her character Honey was as sweet as her name! The movie had a skimpy plot with sprinkles of subplots here and there but nonetheless, it was never boring or lagging. If anything, "Honey" should've been longer. The movie is hilarious with lots of great cameos from Jadakiss, Tweet, Ginuwine, and Missy Elliot (NO, she does not have a lot of screen time like the trailers suggest).

Lots of hot music and heartpumping dances makes "Honey" a can't-miss, holiday feel-good movie! Alba DOES really dance in the movie, no quick editing to the stunt double (a la "Save The Last Dance"). It can't hurt that "Honey" is inspiring as well!

Thanks for watching it with me Lien, even if I didn't sense you felt "Honey" as much as I did! Shake it up, shake it up! It was fun today. Afterwards, we shopped for CDs and didn't have time to eat soggy Subway sandwiches!
