"Home, At Last"
[Music || Ashley Ballard featuring So Plush, "It Was You"]
I am home, at last! This week has been full of enjoyment and natural highs. In most cases, absence does make the heart grow fonder.

Right when I got home, I felt kind of sad because I wasn't sure if my friends' schedules would match with mine. I wanted to see them so much. However, the next day, everything fell into place. My newly, mostly mended up relationship with Kit surfaced and we went out, meeting Ali and Helen for pie at Marie Callender's instead of coffee. I could not believe we had not seen each other in four months, but everything was so fresh, so thrilling, so new. There was some awkwardness but not enough to take over the joy and excitement of seeing each other again. Wow, how we have changed with time. I hope these strands of friendship will never break in animosity.

The next day, Sunday, I finally got to see Clay, the friend who I sends me the most beautiful, artsy mail. There didn't seem to be anything strange between us, at least I didn't sense any.. I felt like picking up from where we left off in summer. Granted, there were a lot of new stories to share. With some Christmas shopping to take care of, we left for Cerritos and Lakewood mall (Yes, we me behind the wheel!). The only thing I am surprise is the gift he bought me; it was way too costly and I have to discuss this over with him... it's just too damn costly between friends!

Monday, I had another great day with Ali and Helen. We watched some Chinese horror movies until Ali had to go home, and then Helen and I decided to head off for lunch. I have no real reccomendation or criticism of Little Tokyo's "Curry House." It's alright, but nothing else. The service was just average, they didn't bring us the straws I asked for.

Tuesday, I finally got to see chatty chica Lien! We had the best pizza at Gale's... omword, it's so good, you can have an orgasm from eating it. The service is amazing, they replaced her cappuncino without asking because the waiter confessed he made it in a hurry. The pizza is so different, so good, it just has you reaching for another slice after another. It's that good! Get the heck out to Fair Oaks in South Pasadena and eat at Gale's! It's CitySearch.com's voted Best Italian restaurant! So good!!!

I still have friends I have to see and I can't wait to hang out more. It's great to be home.. and thanks for the gifts everybody.
