"Sigh..."
[Music || Monica, "Hurts The Most"]
First, lemme give an update. After studying for what was forever this weekend, I stumbled on 4/5 of my finals which I took yesterday and today. It's a horrible feeling when professors test you on what ISN'T important -- the little things which were never gone over throughly or meant as of importance. Alas, I hope I did okay. Now that it's over, I'm not too nervous, I'm just happy I did all I could do. There's no turning back now!

So today I had a free afternoon. There was no way I was going to the "Farewell Dinner" at the DC -- I know if you have a sit-down dinner with this group of people, it will not work.

Instead, I had the most romantic first date ever. We had a stroll around Stonestown, which was boring but for some reason it was the company that made it so exciting. The stationary store closed down! That shows how often I go to the mall. Later, we had a time at Tower Records where it was Method Man day. That store was hella hot and stuffy, probably a reason for them to hand out free popsicles. I didn't take the bait and changed the subject to hunger, a hint for us to head to The Olive Garden.

A friendly waiteress seated us promptly by the window. It was like something out of a movie, watching the world walk pass you as you sip on water. I was in the luck of good company. I really was hungry, so I scarfed down my ministrone soup and garlic bread. When my eggplant parm came, it was so divine. So much better than the crap the DC serves. We shared some of the same plate... the epitome of romance -- sorta like the scene out of "The Lady and The Tramp."

Although there wasn't room for dessert, we went to Borders and later back to Tower, sampling the latest music by Hayley Wenstra and Vienna Teng.

Sigh.... I want more days like this.

"First-year Closure"
[Music || Hilary and Haylie Duff, "Our Lips Are Sealed"]
It's kind of weird... there's something about the first-year of college. I am more than happy to go home, but it hits me that I completed my time here. My first year of college. It's hard to fathom because when I was in high school, I could not envisioned exactly how I could tackle the "big college experience."

In just one more week, I'll be standing, hopefully unscathed from the final exams.

I'll post a more reflecting post when the time comes, but I just wanna say.. I will miss this experience. Collectively, it was memorable.
