I loved your memo, btw...

"Wild Horses"
[Music Natasha Bedingfield, "Unwritten"]
If it scares you, do it.

Even if that means climbing up a mountain and putting your life at risk for nothing else than getting to the top and seeing how things look from above.

Even if that means it looks easy for everyone else, it doesn't mean the mountain is meant for your cheap, Famous Footwear shoes.

At the end of the route, I stand on top and I triumphed my fear.

All I have left is a faux-geo, but that wasn't really what I won. I won me.

"These Words"
[Music Natasha Bedingfield, "I Bruise Easily"]

I believe people who are brought up a certain way, in a certain community, in a certain culture, believe in things the way they were led to believe. Does that make any sense? Ultimately, it is up to each individual to go out and do their various research to find what they think is right or wrong and make a decision for themselves.

I believe that is what I did. It's just that when I go back home, it seems that people there think this narrow way and they deem anything as different as wrong. It upsets me when people who I believe are close to me choose to bruise me. How much damage can my armor withstand?

How can people have opinions when they don't know the facts? How can those opinions have weight? I know I do it though, everybody does it.

Sometimes, I believe things just because I do. There is no complete, single reason why I do the things I do sometimes.

So if every one of my friends and family don't accept me and want a single, certain answer on my choices, I have to say sorry I can't give it to you. Almost every single one of my friends and family have at one time or another questioned my beliefs because it's just "so different" in our the enivornment back home. Some of them have tried to understand parts of me; some have chose to respect me; some have blatantly tried to ignore it; some just simply don't agree with it and sadly, they tried to change me and I gave them the kiss-off.

"My declaration of independence"
[Music Natasha Bedingfield, "Single"]

Taken from my class lecture today:

Advantages of Being Single
1. You have more time for your own activities and friends.
2. You can be spontaneous and not ask someone's permission before doing something. (Ex: no "movie cheating" - can't watch a certain movie with friends because you promised your boyfriend/girlfriend you would with them)
3. You can focus on your career and schoolwork.
4. Complete freedom to flirt without guilt.
5. You control your own finances. (Ex: Not having spend money on roses, chocolate, fancy dinners, etc)
6. You don't have to deal with another person's habits.
7. You don't have to tolerate moodiness and nagging.

"Stress Management Exercises"
[Music The Corrs, "Angel"]
No matter how many stress management exercises I do, I can't get rid of it.

So I put on "Borrowed Heaven" and remember Andrea's twirling. Although summer is mostly forgotten, I remember this night. And it was worth it.

Happy thoughts, happy thoughts.

"Why I Gave Up"
[Music CoCo Lee, "Just No Other Way"]
Because it takes work and energy and frankly, I don't have time for it.

See, I knew it. You do a chica, not one, but TWO big favors and she doesn't bother to even acknowledge it. Really, who needs enemies when I come in contact with people like this?

Anyway, to lighten up the movie and avoid my Variations In Sex reading, here's my Top 10 of the week. I rarely do these.

My Top 10 Songs of The Week
1. Rachel Stevens - "Negotiate With Love"
2. Brie Larson - "She Said"
3. Natalie Imbruglia - "Shiver"
