"These Words"
[Music Natasha Bedingfield, "I Bruise Easily"]

I believe people who are brought up a certain way, in a certain community, in a certain culture, believe in things the way they were led to believe. Does that make any sense? Ultimately, it is up to each individual to go out and do their various research to find what they think is right or wrong and make a decision for themselves.

I believe that is what I did. It's just that when I go back home, it seems that people there think this narrow way and they deem anything as different as wrong. It upsets me when people who I believe are close to me choose to bruise me. How much damage can my armor withstand?

How can people have opinions when they don't know the facts? How can those opinions have weight? I know I do it though, everybody does it.

Sometimes, I believe things just because I do. There is no complete, single reason why I do the things I do sometimes.

So if every one of my friends and family don't accept me and want a single, certain answer on my choices, I have to say sorry I can't give it to you. Almost every single one of my friends and family have at one time or another questioned my beliefs because it's just "so different" in our the enivornment back home. Some of them have tried to understand parts of me; some have chose to respect me; some have blatantly tried to ignore it; some just simply don't agree with it and sadly, they tried to change me and I gave them the kiss-off.
